Service Resume
Thomas D. Kornechuk

Thom Kornechuk's Bio:

I have a Master's degree in Computer Science from Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S. Canada. My thesis was on Medical Imaging: Requirements Analysis for Automating Diabetic Retinopathy Monitoring and Diagnosis.

I also have a Bachelor's degree in Math and Computer Science from St. Mary's University also in Halifax, N.S. Canada.

I currently work for my own software development and consulting firm TDK Consulting Inc. out of Seattle, WA. USA. Currently we are doing business in the medical industry (integrating backend medical applications with web portals), and ecommerce industry. We are actively developing rapid application development solutions that assist business professionals in deploying applications to production servers in a shortened software development lifecycle. The unveiling of our new product is scheduled for October of 2004

I am a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces (Navy) and I spent approximately 10 years as a communications technician and radio operator. I did a brief stint as a Military Policeman -- a thankless job but great experience.

I have a background in networks, operating systems, graphical user interfaces, databases, system configuration, project design and software development. See my CV for details.

I'm very supportive and grateful for the Linux community. Linux is a great operating system that has evolved from one man's (Linus') need to many people's alternative to the Microsoft monopoly. Thanks go to Linus for following his vision.
