Medical Diagnostic Project (2003-2004), providing consultation to Bayer HealthCare Diagnostics Division. Developed an algorithm to convert multi-category problems into main stream multi-classification problems (application in medical diagnosis and text categorization). Developed a parameter optimization program based on cross-validation for Support Vector Machines classifiers. Designed and offered Workshop Series for Computer Science (in study skills, exam preparation, and time management) for both students and faculty members in FCS (2002-2003). In cooperation with Dalhousie Counselling Services Centre. Evaluated DB Miner, a popular data mining tool in North America (2000). The report was used by the developers to enhance DB Miner to its newer version. Developed the expert system: Small Hydropower Advisor (1998) that helps users to go through the technical and legal issues in a preliminary design for small-scale hydropower plants. The system has been installed in the library of Department of Energy, Nova Scotia, Canada, for public use. Developed a computer program for Water Surface Profile in Natural Streams (1992), for both subcritical and supercritical conditions. The program was used in some consulting firms (Iran) for Hydraulics and River Engineering projects. Teaching calligraphy art classes for different age groups (kids, teenagers, and adults), Mashhad, Iran. Development of numerous painting-calligraphy works; some group and individual exhibitions (1980-1988).
